The CGE leadership series brings together a unique blend of leadership discussions and open dialogues on key topics and challenges being faced by public sector executives. Effective leadership has always been important but never more so than now. The challenges of today may seem overwhelming at times but they also offer the opportunity for executives to lead positive, transformative change.
Canadians will elect a new government on April 28th. That government will take office in a time of great economic and political uncertainty with ambitious policy ideas for the country facing a changing world order and our relationship with the United States.
What does this election mean for Canada's public service and public servants? What changes will be forthcoming to the structure and governance of the federal government? How will the winning policy platform be implemented? What will be the first priorities of Canada's new government? What changes can be expected to the structure and governance of the federal government?
Canadian Government Executive is holding a special post-election panel discussion on these and other key questions surrounding the transition to a new government.
