With a theme of ‘building national resilience’, the Sprint will provide you with the opportunity to co-design a tech solution to a real problem.
You’ll be asked to solve one of five challenges, drawn from common issues plaguing industry, government and the community – and work in small teams to create a solution.
- Entry is free – and teams can work at their own pace in the lead-up to the DX Summit.
- The Sprint is open to all technology-skills levels – whether you’re a tech expert or complete beginner.
- Sign up and be placed into a team of 4 or 5 – build your network and your knowledge.
- To help you prepare, you’ll have access to $5,000 worth of WithYouWithMe’s free tech training boot camps and during the sprint you can access mentoring from tech industry leaders (but it’s also OK to turn up on the day and simply contribute your ideas).
- The Tech Design Sprint week will kick off with an overview of the competition plus a series of short 5-minute lightning talks from tech leaders to give you ideas and help – then you’ll break into virtual rooms to meet your team and plan a solution. You’ll have access to a tech mentor for the week, so you can ask questions and receive direction.
- The winning teams will have the opportunity to share their solutions with government leaders and potentially see their idea become reality. This will include having your solution presented at the DX Summit and special coverage in CGE and Vanguard.
