Canadian Government Executive (CGE) media team is excited to announce a keynote by Scott Brison, President of the Treasury Board of Canada at its TechGov Executive Leadership Summit in Ottawa. In the rapidly changing world, Tech Gov 2018 has been conceptualized to empower leaders and executives of industry, government and public sector. This two-day conference, which will take place on January 29 and 30, is an opportunity to discover and learn about strategic opportunities in technology advancements and innovations.
Scott Brison was appointed to the federal cabinet as President of the Treasury Board by Prime Minister Trudeau in November 2015. He has served as Vice-Chair of the House of Commons Standing Committee on Finance in opposition, as a member of the Trilateral Commission in international front, Minister of Public Works and Government Services in Paul Martin’s Government and as Parliamentary Secretary to the Prime Minister with special emphasis on Canada-U.S. relations. Mr. Brison has had extensive private sector experience as an entrepreneur and investment banker.
He was named by the World Economic Forum of Davos, Switzerland, as one of its “Young Global Leaders”.
