Canadian Government Executive, Canada’s leading magazine for public sector executives, is hosting a game-changing one day conference in Ottawa on October 5th, 2016 on “Deliverology”.

Deliverology is new but has deep roots in the Canadian public service that will affect the work of all decision-makers. The CGE Leadership Summit 2016 is a learning opportunity designed to mobilize discussion based on how departments and agencies are updating their delivery capacity, measuring results with new tools and attitudes, and sharpening their public reporting.

This event will bring together thought leaders from both inside and outside the federal government who will discuss how they have adapted to new priorities while assuming their legal and traditional responsibilities.

Moderated by Editor-in-chief Patrice Dutil, the event will examine various dimensions of this new approach to galvanizing policy and service delivery. Themes will include “Gearing The Organization to Performance”; “Perpetual Performance Improvement: New Approaches” and “The Art of Reporting: Dashboards, Stocktakes, and the Public.” In each case, panels will include a path-breaking department, an external consultant, and either a provincial or municipal speaker. All will speak of their experience on how they raised the bar in delivering measurable results.

Participants will learn how to update their delivery capacity, measure results with new tools and attitudes and hone their public reporting skills.
