TechGov Forum welcomes Microsoft as a Platinum Sponsor

Canadian Government Executive Media (CGE) is pleased to welcome Microsoft as its Platinum Sponsor for its inaugural TechGov Forum, which will take place on November 7-8 in Ottawa.

“We are pleased to announce that Microsoft, a leader in enabling digital transformation in government, will join us this year as our Platinum Sponsor of our annual forum,” said John Jones, CGE media and Group Publisher.

Microsoft enables digital transformation for governments, offering innovation around personal computing, intelligent cloud, productivity, and information security. This innovation, powered by government cloud computing and supported by a vast partner network, helps governments achieve more.

“Digital transformation is no longer on the horizon. It’s here, it’s happening, and it’s changing the way public sector organizations in Canada and across the world deliver services to citizens and communities,” said Jason Hermitage, Vice President of Public Sector for Microsoft Canada. “Governments across Canada and around the world trust the Microsoft cloud to help them transform the way they engage citizens and employees.  We look forward to sharing our best practices at the TechGov forum.”

“As we prepare for the upcoming TechGov 2017 Forum, it’s wonderful to have Microsoft’s expertise and support for this event,” Jones said. “Microsoft is a leading global cloud provider with datacenters in Canada and has earned trust among government and business leaders around the world. TechGov is a very high-quality forum designed specifically for senior, public sector executives. We are inviting senior IT professionals from both public and private sectors to share their experiences. TechGov Forum engages a unique audience, and we are pleased that Microsoft will share best practices from around the world.”

TechGov 2017 will be held at the Ottawa Conference & Events Centre on November 7-8, 2017.
