Today, many connect with their banks, private companies, and friends in an instantaneous, automated and simplified way – through a touch on their mobile devices. Why can’t the same interaction be with their public sector organizations?

At TechGov 2018, an event produced by Canadian Government Executive magazine, this question will be tackled by Nadir Hirji Partner, Strategy and PwC Digital Services Lead at PwC Canada.

Hirji will give an overview of Digital IQ, the 2017 Canadian insights report, and delve into the implications for the public sector. He’ll deep dive into how digital transformation is affecting how the public sector needs to be delivering services. He will also talk about the key findings and wrap up by outlining next steps the public sector can take to thrive in a market of digital disruption.

TechGov is an executive leadership event that presents a unique opportunity for executives to learn firsthand how technology can help drive results for Canadians and the implications of Digital Transformation for the public sector.

Other speakers at this event include:

Michael Wernick – Clerk of the Privy Council and Secretary to the Cabinet
Marc Brouillard – Chief Technology Officer, Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat
Jason Hermitage- VP Public Sector, Microsoft Canada
